This sweet little painting is of a Bigné that some NYC friends brought me from Veniero's on East 11th Street. Veniero's is a bakery on the street where I used to live. They only make these special cream filled pastries once a year - for Saint Joseph's Day. Enjoy!

Silver Pumpkin

Each Autumn our local farmers gather their crops of increasingly interesting pumpkins. This one is a "Twilight Pumpkin" and glows greenish grey from within. They'll last for months if kept indoors. This painting, however, will last even longer.
